Mama's Big Helper

We have quite a bit of cream cheese thanks to the fantastic deal going on at Kroger stores right now (Yup, we were paid $0.10 to bring 10 packages home with us. ;-P Not too shabby, eh? And that is without any coupons!) so I thought bagels would be tasty. Chloe wanted to help me knead the dough, and Dwight took pictures. She loves to help us, eat with us, do anything we are doing! (She is even going to come camping with us this weekend! Yay!)

Yay for Kroger! (I stocked up on that one too.. :-) and your bagles look amazing; you should post the recipe--I have never tried making them and I should.

YUMMY! I didn't know about this deal or I would have snatched some up as well. I wonder if you can freeze cream cheese??? I agree with Ivy...post the recipe! I love bagels and I too have never tried to make them. ;0)

Gail, I'm thinking the sale is still going on today. :-) Here's how it worked... at Kroger stores (most if not all) there is a Buy 10 save $5 sale going on for a variety of products, and Kraft Philadelphia cream cheese is included. So you buy your 10 and they ring up at $0.99 each. Then after you check out, you'll receive two catalinas (From Kraft when you buy 5 of their select products)along with your receipt. Each one will be for $5 off your next grocery order. So the cream cheese is free when those two "deals" are combined. :-)
I don't know if you can freeze it or not, some say you can but that the consistency changes a bit. I'm bad and I'm going to try freezing some. I figure if it did get ruined, at least I didn't pay for them! ;-)
